in the Yukon
SPELL OF THE NORTH
Why is it that for many Yukoners, winter is the
best time of the year?!
There are so many colours. Yes, although nature
is covered with a white blanket, you'll see a varying spectrum of colours
day and night: spectacular sunsets, Alpenglow, and Northern Lights.
It's a photographer's paradise. Due to the low position of the sun,
the colours in the sky are phenomenal.
The climate is challenging.
Here, nature is unchangeable: man must
adapt to his environment.
The outdoors becomes an open book, with exciting
stories written in the snow.
Winter is also the time to relax and find oneself
